- This utility hides itself in the system tray (where the clock is).
- When you click on it's icon, it displays a list of people and their phone
- numbers or e-mail address. If you click on the phone number, it is automatically
- dialed with the selected modem. You are asked to pick up the phone after the number
- is dialed. If you click on an e-mail address, your default mail program is opened.
- You need to have a default mail program. This program has been tested with Eudora 3.0,
- Netscape and MS Mail. When you enter something in the "phone number / e-mail" list,
- if it contains the '@' character, it is an e-mail address, otherwise, it's a phone
- number. You can also double-click on the icon or select "Properties..." in the menu
- to bring up a window in which you can add or remove names and numbers.
-
-
- To install:
- Place phone.exe, phone.ini and phone.txt in any folder, for example
- you could move it in c:\Program Files\phone or c:\phone
- Then create a shortcut to phone.exe and place this shortcut in the "Startup"
- folder, which is under the "Programs" folder in your "Start" menu. To open this folder,
- right-click on the "Start button" and choose "Explore" then browse to the
- "Startup" folder. Move your shortcut in that folder.
